The delightful young lady states that “I never met a foot that I could not fit”. Am I to assume that she no longer works for the Athlete’s foot? Should it not be “I’ve never met a foot that I could not fit”? That would infer that in all her experience working in the shoe business that the lady has not failed yet, and will continue to do so. This lack of basic knowledge of the English language irks me so. Am I the only one?
